The school bored is planning on changing the rule on cell phones in classes. I believe that they should be aloud in school.
Here are some of the reasons I believe that.
Teachers have them, so why not us students? I think its just fair.
It’s not fair because teachers can pull out a cell phone and the students can’t. The teachers use them the same as kids. Like some teachers take calls and text in class.
I also think that we need them for in case of emergency. What if your case manager needs to ask you something important and they don’t have your school number. It’s easier for them to leave you a message or text. That kind of thing.
What if someone in your family gets hurt or what if you feel very sick? Like what if your mom has to go to the doctor and has to tell you that she wont be at home? What if you get hurt and you need to call the ambulance? We need cell phone so we know that stuff.
Most phones have useful tools like a calculator, a calendar, and stuff like that. It also can help the students do better in school because of the ability to use the cell phone.
I have discussed the reasons that we need cell phones. I know there are bad things that go with it. However I also think the good out weigh the bad so I ask you to please allow cell phones

I completely agree. Like, what if your parents are out of town and your staying with someone else, and for whatever reason, you need to contact them? Well, if you can't have cell phones, then you would use the office phone... but, you can only call home, trackers and case managers, so no luck there. Also, none of your friends have one, and most teachers wont let you use theirs... so your out'a luck.
i agree that students should be aloud to have cell phones in school, but this is my last year here so it doesn't matter if they change it- Noble
