I am in favor of having music in class. I have several reasons for it and I will give a few.


First of all, I’m in favor of having music in class because it helps me and others to focus. For me it can be a lot easier to focus on my work if I am listening to music that I like. It somehow takes away all the other distractions that there is in a classroom. Music to me is just a way to be able to get away from distracting things and focus on certain matters.


Second, music is a way to relax. Most people listen to music and kick back. Slow music like oldies for example help me relax. It also helps me get away from all of my problems for a while and also to avoid getting into more trouble. I know it’s not like this just for me, I’m pretty sure that there is others that also do the same thing I do.

My third reason is that it also gives you something to do when you finish up an assignment early and you have nothing else to do. It would at least keep you busy. It would make it a lot easier for the teachers because they wouldn’t have to tell you what to do.

In other words we should have music because if you think about it, it works out good for everyone. Teachers don’t have to tell you what to do. You can focus and relax and it also gives you something to do when you finish things early.
