Can you ever put a broken heart back together?
Can it ever beat the same way it did when he first touched you?
The heart of that sad lonely girl will never be that heart again
It cant the moment he turns his back on her
The moment he looks at her with those eyes full of hate
That heart is shattered it will never be the same
The boy just leaves she knew it would happen
It was coming and the world knew it
She cries herself to sleep most nights
Cries and wishes he’ll come for her
He promised he would always love her
Love her how?
How could he when all he wants is for her to suffer
All he wants is to leave her, cause her pain
She watches him from the corner of her eye
And he’s smiling
Not to her or what she said but how she looks
He knows she’s sad and that she’s alone
And that makes him happy
How then does that broken girl react?
She looks away and becomes content
Fro she knows that as long as her love is happy her life is fulfilled
Her joy her reason for all her tears that run down her check is him
The boy that would never smile

She leaves him to be happy doesn’t bother him
She wants him to stay happy
She leaves the world and watches him from a better place
He never notices her absence and the broken girl is comforted
She still loves him and dreams that one day he will realize how much
