Challenges and Adversity

I have always been a good student. Overcoming adversity and challenges has helped me with how good I do in school. There are many people who have told me that I don’t stand a chance at graduating. At one point I believed what they said and just stopped going to school altogether because the challenge seemed like it was impossible to achieve. It was when I moved to Price that I started to work harder and was actually able to focus on going to school instead of staying up late and partying with people who claimed to be my friends. I later found out that these people were the main reason why I was not going to be able to graduate when I wanted to. They were making me miss school to chill, and it just wasn’t worth it. I now realize that working hard to overcome challenges and adversity usually pays off in the end, and it all becomes worth while.
