Narrative: Conclusion

After I found out that my dad was not my biological father our relationship kind of took a hit. Now that I am older and I understand more about the situation I couldn’t love my dad any more than I already do. I have learned that it is not you DNA that makes you related but the love and support that is given. Everyday that my dad and I spend together we learn more about eachother, and we have the greatest times. He had done more for me then anyone in the world has, and I know that he loves me. In the future if my kids could have half the dad that my dad is, I would be satisfied.

I think that it is a good thing that you learned that it is not always the DNA. I'm glad you have relised that.

I know how that feels and that is right with what you said, it's doesn't have to be blood related to be a family member it's the one's that love you that really care for you.

I'm sorry to hear that. But hey at least you realize you dont have to be related by blood to be related.-Noble

That is awesome. Even though it's not biological it is still a father. I am glad that it all worked out for you!

It takes more than blood to be a good parent and a decent human being. It's good that you have a father in your life. Everyone should have that, genes or no genes.

Me and my dad were talking a few weeks ago about DNA testing cause he wasn't completely sure that my mom was 'faithful" but I know that whatever the result turned out to be, he would always be the man that raised me and my dad. I'm glad you guys still have an awesome relationship.

That is so great that you can still have an amzing relationship after you figured out he isn't your biological father. I wish I had a better relationship with my dad.
