Narrative Rough Draft

MOVING TO LEHI

When I was five years old my parents decided to build a house in Lehi. At the time I lived in a small rental house in Sandy UT on a main street. We lived next to an abandon house that had no windows or doors and it was all messed up. it proble had about thirty feral cats in it. That’s where my aunt got her cat.

When I turned six on my birthday there was a space shuttle coming back from space that flew right over my house. I was exited cause my parents told me that the reson it was flying over was for me sense it was my birthday and I believed them. Then about two weeks latter our parents told us that we where going to move to a new house with a backyard and a safe neighbor hood. They told us to get in the van so they could take us up to Lehi to see our new house being built. When we got there my cousins where already there and the house was only made out of would because that’s only how far they got when we went to see it.

My cousin Lilly and I went into where the kitchen was being built to sit on the floor and eat Wendy's kids meals. That was the first time I ever tried dipping fries in my frosty. Witch I have done I think every time I have gone to Wendys since. After we where done eating and looking abound we went out to the backyard to see how big it was. The ground was kind of muddy because it had rain earlier that day. I jumped out the back door and fell into a window well that I didn’t see and got a big scrape on my arm. My older brother Rhett helped me out cause I was to little to get out my self.

When everyone was done checking out the new house we all got in my van and headed home.

About three months latter our house was done and it was time to move in. my mother was really excited she was getting kind of upset that we where not packing fast enough. After we had all our stuff in boxes and bags my dad, bothers, and I had to take everything out side and get it ready for the moving truck. When the truck finely got there my dad didn’t let me help put all our stuff in the truck because he didn’t want me to get hurt witch made me cry cause I felt like I wanted to help more so he had me grab our dog Pecos witch was a puppy and he had me sit in front on the big moving truck. He told me that I could help by not letting the puppy run away and making sure she came with us.

When we got there my mom was already there along with some of my uncles waiting for us to get there to help us unpack. Right when we pulled up my brothers and I jumped out and ran into the house to pick witch rooms we wanted. Austin and I had to share a room and we wanted to sleep by our parents room so we got a small room right next to theres. My older brothers Rhett, and Jordan got a room right next to Austin’s and mine.

After about a month we had new neighbors move in next door. The Lowes. That’s when Austin and I met Ryan Lowe. At first Ryan and I didn’t get along cause for some reason he liked to kick me in the legs all the time and I would come home from his house with bruises on my shins but after a wile we became closer and we have been friends ever since.

When my dad finished our basement Jordan and I moved down stairs witch gave Austin and I our own rooms I got the bigger room with is bigger then my parents room and is the same room I am in still today. My parents let me choose the carpet color and wall color. I don’t know why I chose the walls to be blue and the carpet to be green but that’s what I go.

Now sense we have lived in that house for thirteen years now we have had so many memories in it that I think it will be really hard to move out of witch is funny cause my parents original plan was to stay there for only three years.
